I've been accepted to ride across America this summer with a program called Bike & Build! I will be riding from Maine to Santa Barbara.
This blog will be my best attempt at keeping everyone posted on what's going on. Leading up to the summer it will probably include a lot of info about fundraisers I will be doing and things I'm doing to prepare. Hopefully while I'm out riding I'll be able to update this every couple of days with pictures, stories, and other exciting things I'll be experiencing.
I have been looking at doing this trip for almost 5 years now, and now that it's actually happening, I can't even wrap my head around how excited, nervous, and all around 6-year-old-going-to-Disney I am.
Hopefully within the next week or two I will have the first wave of fundraising going out, I'm thinking, t-shirts, bake sale, and letters to friends/family. so keep your eyes open for that!
